Former Research Associate
Ayoub worked as a Research Associate at the PGMLab from September 2025 to June 2026.
He completed his Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Yonsei University College of Medicine under the Global Korea Scholarship,
following his undergraduate training in Life Sciences at Mohammed V University in Morocco.
His research focused on gene regulation and epigenetic mechanisms in aging, leveraging haplotype-resolved nanopore long-read sequencing to investigate allele-specific genomic and epigenomic regulation.
Following his time at the PGMLab, he joined the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Germany, as a Ph.D. student.
